In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I’m a digital designer passionate about photography, graphic design, web design, and UX design. I’m also super into cinema and exploring cool places around Atlanta!

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

So far the coolest thing I’ve done was creating a Twitter Bot using the Twitter API as part of an assignment for my LMC 2700 class. I decided to make a bot that could determine the five most prominent colors in a tweeted image and reply with the colors’ hex values. While this was a challenging project, it was a really great way to get hands-on experience with JavaScript and it was super cool to see my bot interact with other users on its own.

What are your professional goals?

I plan on pursuing a career as a user experience designer at a tech company in the future. I hope to work with organizations to create valuable, user-focused solutions.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

Computational Media combines the best of both aspects of an education in Computer Science and Liberal Arts, effectively equipping students with both the technological and creative skills to pursue a wide range of careers.
