I love meeting new people and trying new things whether it be new foods, places,or a topic. I’m a passionate and energetic person who wants to bring value to others through online applications. I’m always open for a chat and enjoy movies, reading, and anime/manga in my free time.
What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?
I created a self-initiated redesign of Amazon prime video UX design outside of class. In a hackathon, I worked together on a personal portfolio website based on our chinese horoscope. I like to test new ideas from what I learned in classes.
What are your professional goals?
I hope to become a product designer who is advanced in design principles and creates functional and impactful products for social good. I want to use diverse tools such as AR in my jobs and have variety in tasks. I also hope to become an entrepreneur.
In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.
Even though it is my first year, I found it to be a good balance of technical and soft skills. CM gives you the skills to be the jack of all trades from software development, UX/UI design, video production, graphic design, game development, to music technology are such a few. You get to decide which one to master.
