In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I love finding creative outlets in various forms, whether that be through photography, art, or baking! My recent interests are discovering new music (alternative R&B is pretty neat!) and thrift shopping/exploring random boutiques!

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

I designed a fictional cat cafe called Chino’s Cafe and created the logo, design guidelines, business cards, and more elements of the brand identity to bring my imagined concept to life! Not only was it a great learning experience of how to use Adobe tools, but I also was able to realize the importance of iterative design through constantly receiving constructive feedback given by peers and revising my design choices.

What are your professional goals?

Currently, I strive to become an empathetic and inclusive UX designer/researcher who speaks for misrepresented users and their needs.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

CM gives you the flexibility of exploring both technical and creative elements of problem-solving while still being able to cater to your specialized interests.
