In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I am both super pragmatic/logical and artistic/emotional at the same time. I love breaking down coding challenges and designing the most efficient system but I also love to draw, paint, play piano, and sing!

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

I started working with the DILAC lab over the summer of 2020 to produce a game to spread awareness of the pandemic and how to stay safe. We got to develop a cool 2D stealth-action game where you have to avoid catching the disease while shopping at a grocery store. The coolest part though was when we partnered with Indiecade to hold a large game jam open to the public where I got to play all sorts of pandemic-themed games, all based off the Georgia Tech pandemic modeling system!

What are your professional goals?

I hope to become the lead designer behind large video games in the industry, or the owner of my own games company. Or who knows? Maybe my spotify career will take off one day…

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

If what drove you to code was not creating the best system possible, but creating the best human experience possible, you should consider CM.
