In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I think I’d describe myself as a creator. I feel most fulfilled by making things whether its 3D models, animated videos, or songs. My ideal job involves making stuff!

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

Growing up, I watched Cartoon Network almost religiously. I absorbed everything they had to offer from Courage the Cowardly Dog to the Power Puff Girls. By the time I reached high school, working for an animation company had become my dream job. Lucky for me, CN Digital here in Atlanta had a co-op program that only accepted CM majors. Through co-oping, I got to work for my dream company every other semester here at Tech.

What are your professional goals?

After graduation, I’d like to work for a big gaming or animation company like Blizzard or Cartoon Network. Eventually, my dream would be to lead my own game or show. After getting settled and situated financially, I’d love to start an indie game studio with some friends.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

If you’re interested in a major that teaches you coding and gives you room to create art, CM is the way to go!
