In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I have always been a designer and a creator, as well as a passionate gamer. Video games have the potential to be widely revered as great works of art. I want to be the one who takes them there.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

For Intro to Computational Media, I made an Atari versus shooter game along with a couple classmates. Everyone loved it! My classmates, the teaching assistants, the professor, I even caught wind that Ian Bogost took a peek. Creating an original game that captures the attention of so many is the best feeling in the world.

What are your professional goals?

I’m looking to break into the games industry, hopefully as a producer, and to take the field to the next level while I’m at it. Video games are still in their infancy, and there is so much untapped potential I want to release.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

Computational Media is the only major that teaches you the theory and design, and then shows you how to put them to use in code. The possibilities with CM are bounded only by your imagination, passion, and devotion.
