In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I’m a third-year with People/Interaction Design threads who loves all things creative & fun! In my free time, I love playing video games, making and looking at art, travelling, attending random concerts, and drinking overpriced lattes (Momonoki’s matcha latte has my whole heart) ☕

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain! I took 12 hours of coursework that counted towards my CM degree- Discrete Math, Ethics, Educational Technology, and Intro to Info Visualization. I also got to travel around Europe, make new friends, and experience a new culture. It was a wonderful experience that I’d highly highly recommend to any CM/CS major!

What are your professional goals?

I’m currently hoping to work remotely as a UI/UX designer and live in Europe! Within the world of design, I’m super interested in learning design, sustainable design, game design, and designing for social good ?

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

As someone who’s spent my entire college career thus far deciding if I should switch to CS, I’ve come to realize that CM’s interdisciplinary nature is truly perfect for anyone who’s interested in meaningful, creative tech work and gaining a more holistic view of computing, media, and design!
