In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

Since I first step foot on Georgia Tech’s campus, I have loved every part of it. Georgia Tech has provided me with many opportunities for me to take advantage of and I have tried to do just that. I enjoy trying new things out, being a part campus, meeting new people, and learning all that I can while I am at Georgia Tech.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

One of the coolest things I have done as CM major was creating a video game through an animation class. I have never been that big into video games and have never touched animation, but LMC2730 was a great learning lesson and the final project turned out to be great. My team successfully created a working video game with sound effects, levels, flying objects, and a cinematic environment that turned out to be one of the coolest projects I’ve worked on.

What are your professional goals?

My professional goals are still in flux right now, but I would love to do something that combines technology, the outdoors, and some creative nature. Web development, app development, and user experience are all things I am interested in, so I hope to learn more about that in my last few semesters at Tech and hopefully transfer those skills to the professional workforce.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

The Computational Media major helps any student find out what they want to do, whether they enjoy game design, web development, or user interfaces, and it offers a wide variety of classes and options such that everyone learns all that they need to in order to succeed later in life.
