In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

I am an outgoing and curious person with a passion for interacting with people and design. In my free time, I love to be involved in the GT improv comedy troupe and take part in various gaming clubs and organizations on campus.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

I was part of a team that conceived, designed, and coded our own video game. Bringing an idea to a finished product is incredibly rewarding, and I learned to tap into my creativity, negotiation, and logic skills throughout the project. CM gives me the opportunity to build and leverage multiple skills.

What are your professional goals?

I want to start my career in the video gaming industry. With my CM background, I have skills ranging from complex coding to elegance in user interface design. Further, I am interested in how people and multiple cultures interact with technology. I am combining my CM degree with a minor in Japanese so I can pursue global opportunities.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

The CM major provides a solid base with extensive flexibility to build and leverage your interests in the field of technology. It adds a human perspective to a technical field and encourages you to find your path.
