In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

Hi, I’m Sean! I make games and the art, code, sound, and music that goes inside them. My threads are Game Studies and Media.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

When I was a freshman, I joined VGDev, which is Tech’s student-led game development club. Since then, I’ve worked on nearly a dozen game projects, including two of my own design, and now I help lead the club and mentor new members and project leads. While there’s no denying that VGDev projects look great on a portfolio, my involvement has also let me explore and refine a personal passion, and help others to do the same thing.

What are your professional goals?

I’d either like to work in the games industry (don’t try this at home, kids) or do freelance art and design work in and around compelling interactive media.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

CS will teach you the “how”, and LMC will teach you the “why” – you truly need both to become a better creator.
