In fifty words or less, describe yourself.

Aspiring writer, soccer enthusiast, wannabe chef, closeted anime fan, and a lover of horrible, horrible jokes.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your studies as a CM major?

Getting to write the story for “Save the System”, a VG Dev club game lead by the man, myth, and legend Kartik Kinay. I’ve written on a lot of other projects before — short stories, a novel that’s still in the works, some little screenplays that didn’t get finished — and there is something awesome about walking up to a character and having them say the lines and do the things that you wrote.

What are your professional goals?

Be a creative. Wish I could say more about it, like what field I’d like to end up in, but I honestly have no idea where I’ll end up. I’d like to finish my novel at some point (and the sequels that I have in the works), but from there, who knows? Maybe I’ll try my hand at video games or movies or TV, basically anything where I get to tell a story.

In one sentence, explain why students should choose the CM major.

Because out of every major at Georgia Tech, nothing comes close to giving you the freedom you have with a CM degree. Literally any project, any company (and believe me, I’ve seen this work in the job hunt) has room for someone as multi-talented as a CM grad. That was two sentences, wasn’t it? Eh, might as well make it four.
